Hi

My name is Kevin and I completed a cycle ride with a pal, not only from one end of the UK Mainland to the other, but also through Orkney and Shetland. My Pal, Malc, was very keen, focussed, and physically fit, unlike myself. Was I a fool, did I need professional help? Time will tell!

Why Shetland? Well that's where we both lived, on the small island of Whalsay, to be precise.

I believe everyone should try something different from time to time, and the idea of cycling the length of the Country was definitely different. It's was all too easy to be in a rut, living from day to day, doing the same routines without a thought.

After saying that, it often crossed my mind if I was able to complete a challenge like this, especially with my lack of fitness, and my loving mother telling me I'm too old for these crazy ideas.

After listening to Chris Moyles and how he climbed Killamanjaro, your mind can run wild with the possible ideas for future adventures for the next few years. My next challenge is the
